GOT A CAT?

Food, treats and litter are our speciality and we try very hard to make sure that you are aware of all the products available for a 21 st century cat. When we speak to you we will ask the age, weight, general health and current diet of your puss to make sure we steer you in the right direction. We keep over 70 different types of complete cat food including Macks Mix that we introduced in 2005. It is going down a storm and we hope to add a Macks premium cat in 2007. We are also finding more customers asking for “indoor” cat food of which we keep at least 5 variations. There are 6.5 million cats in the U.K. and in 2004 for the first time the number of housecats (i.e. cats that are kept indoors) surpassed the number of outdoor cats. There are a few benefits to keeping your cat indoors, obviously it eliminates the chances of the animal being involved in an accident but it also prevents disease, fleas, mites, fights etc. and it is widely accepted that even a small flat will provide enough space for a cat to exercise properly. It does mean providing a litter tray of course but these days wood based litters make the chore much simpler. At Discount Pet Supplies we have 14 different kinds of cat litter available in anything from handy size right up to bulk sacks and all delivered to your door.
